Kavae Tamariki

ONU Kiteboarding was established in 2006 by founder Kavae to whom kiteboarding is more than a passion or a sport, its a lifestyle. A regular member of the RNZAF (Air Force), he set up this part-time kite-school in Wellington, NZ originally to grow the sport within the military. ONU Kiteboarding is open to eveyone who wants to experience the thrill of a watersport like no other. While born and bred in Aotearoa, Kavae's parents are Cook Islanders from the island of Rarotonga which is a kiteboarding paradise.
